“History has not forgotten Maitatsine, a body of Muslim terror group like Boko Haram that was created by Christian to tarnish the image of Islam. We have not also forgotten the fear of colonial agents and their allies on Nigeria becoming the Africa America if she makes use of her naturally endowed resources judiciously to develop her nation; likewise, the cabal whose the present government policies have greatly affected. They all have hands in insecurity of the nation.”
The above assertion was made yesterday by a prominent Islamic scholar, Sheikh Daood Imran Molaasan, the founder and National President of Jama’at Ta’awunil Muslimeen-a developing Islamic Movement in Nigeria, at a post Ramadan lecture organized by one of the bodies of the Movement called Solahudeen Ayyubi zone, which comprises Lagos, Oyo, Ogun and Kwara state.
The lecture, which took place at Oja Oba central mosque multipurpose hall in the morning, had dignitaries across the states involved in attendance, including the coordinators of the organization.
The president of the movement made it known that when there are problems in a country, its causes must be traced to those who are beneficiaries of the problems. “Everybody knows it was not like this before election. Although then, there were cases of arm smuggling into the country. One of the Nigeria Senators raised this alarm of arm importation from Israeli all because they don’t want Buhari to return as President due to his policies that do not favour the foreigners and the capitalist within.
“I laugh when the sponsored media continue to malign and channel every step taken by the President towards Fulanisation and Islamisation. I wonder whose Muslims they are talking about. The Muslims who are busy wrangling among themselves; the Muslims who are extremely poor and economic dependent; those who are educationally backward and future unrealistic; how come this kind of people will think of Islamising a country which her economic power is under the control of religious arm of colonial master? This is not possible.
“The problem is, they don’t want Nigeria as a better country. But with her economic problem, they will live, share our resources, buy private jets and go for shopping in Dubai. All these have been made difficult under Buhari and that is why they want to destabilize the country with all possible means” he explained.
