As days are passing by, Muslims are getting more and more divided. The Ummah which the Nabiy tried so hard to bring together as entity keeps on getting farther and farther apart day in, day out.
After the enemies had succeeded in dividing the Ummah and disorganizing their one nation (caliphacy) into nations, demarcated with boundaries, one would have expected them to try so hard and bring together the unity which the Ummah had lost, but instead, internal division is what still surfacing.
At the time when the enemies are gathering forces and becoming stronger day –in-day-out, that is when the personal interest is separating the Muslims apart. It is very amazing to see politicians who have no God to always let go of their differences when it comes to their common goal. But how come the Muslims whom Allah describes as the best of mankind have always found it difficult to manage their differences? Why have they been failing to forget their differences and unite on their own common interest, which is Islam?
In our society today there is no speaker for Ummah. Everybody dictates according to his wills. We fail on many occasions because of our diverse interests and this has continued to render our existence as Muslim valueless.
The time, when we are not organized to make common decision, and there is no commanding force that can direct our affairs as Muslims, that is when some groups among us are still condemning and disorganizing those who have already organized themselves. How can we in a disorganized manner and without a commanding force face the challenges of the organized enemies? Is that not a call to self destruction and testimony to the saying of the Prophet that,
“…………….I grant you for your Ummah that it would not be destroyed by famine and it would not be dominated by an enemy who would not be amongst it and would take their lives and destroy their root and branch even if all the people from different parts of the world join hands together (for this purpose) but it would be from amongst them”. Where is this Ummah heading to?
